QNX to Exhibit at Embedded World 2005

HANOVER, December 20, 2004 - QNX Software Systems today announced it will unveil its new Platform Core Source Kit at Embedded World 2005. Created to simplify software debugging for developers who use the QNX^® Neutrino^® RTOS, the new kit includes source code for a host of components, including:

• libraries - system, runtime, networking, encryption, XML, compression, image handling (e.g. JPEG), etc.
• driver frameworks - audio, graphics, input, serial, USB, etc.
• POSIX and QNX utilities - cp, grep, ls, mkdir, touch, etc.
• networking services - TCP/IP, PPP, QNX io-net, remote file systems, etc.
• embedded networking services - tiny stack, embedded web browser, data server, etc.
• instrumentation utilities - trace logging, trace capture, etc.

Also at Embedded World, QNX CEO Dan Dodge will deliver a keynote address on "Embedded Operating Systems: The Next Ten Years." Any attendee interested in the future of embedded computing is encouraged to attend the keynote, which will take place February 23, at 9:30 am.
